Building on the incredible momentum of the inaugural Taranaki Pride Week in 2024, this year’s celebration saw the region come alive with colour, connection, and community spirit. From April 7–13, a total of 23 events were held across the region, drawing in even more people to support and celebrate Taranaki’s growing and vibrant Pride community. The success of this year’s Taranaki Pride Week was a powerful reflection of how far we’ve come—and a testament to the increasing support and visibility for LGBTQIA+ people in our region.
